Praise the Lord God Almighty!

We were able to present the gospel to many people. We knocked on doors and talked to passerby’s as the area we took was very near the central, shopping centre and rail station.

Just from the top of my head, we shared the gospel with:

A man named Henry. He was very receptive and took the time to listen to us. Praise the Lord for the work he has begun in his life!

A Chinese woman named Maggie. She had no beliefs system as such but was very happy to listen to us. Unfortunately we were interrupted by another Chinese speaking lady half way through. But, we shared a leaflet in both English and Cantonese for the others in the house.

A young woman named Jamima. She told us that she had been wondering the night before if would make it to heaven if she died. It was just fitting that this was the exact question we asked her in the opening of our gospel presentation (If you were to die today do you know for sure where you would spend eternity?)

We gave her the full gospel presentation and told her how she can know she has eternal life.

An elderly woman Jane.  We shared the full Gospel with her. She had believed that to go to heaven, she needed to be a good person and do good (salvation by works). At the same time she said that she had two King James Bible at home and said that her husband’s favourite verse was John 3:16 when we read it to her.  I believe the Lord had already started his work in the life of Jane and we were sent to show her the way of salvation more perfectly. Which she received with joy.

These are just some of the names I can remember (I also don’t want to make the email too long).

Please pray for these people that Lord will continue what he has started in their lives by the power of the Holy Spirit.

I want to encourage you all to get out and spread the Gospel however you can. We had many people thank us for coming and sharing the gospel with them.

The worst response we got was a ” No thank you, I am not interested”. and “Jesus is not my friend”.

The bible says to provoke each other unto good works. This email is not to boast about what we are doing but encourage you brothers and sisters to continue you work if you are already out there, give it a try if you are not or join us if you want to go in a fellowship.

It is the Lord that does the work of salvation in people’s hearts. All we do is obey the  commandment to go out and spread that precious seed. The Word of God. 

“He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

Psalms 126:6
